Here’s a simple recipe for spinach quiche:

Ingredients:

  • 1 refrigerated pie crust
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 cups chopped fresh spinach
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (such as Swiss or cheddar)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the pie crust and place it in a 9-inch (23 cm) pie dish. Trim any excess crust hanging over the edge.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg until well combined.
  4. Add the chopped spinach and cheese to the bowl and stir until evenly distributed.
  5. Pour the egg mixture into the prepared pie crust.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the crust is golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
